Punta Mita is the same latitude as Hawaii, so if you live in a northern climate, you’ll love Punta Mita in the wintertime.

There is a rainy season from August through September, but most storms are tempered by the Sierra Madre Mountains. Expect some cooling rain occasionally in the afternoon, but otherwise, be sure to pack sunscreen.
